<\/a><\/p>\nIt’s a simple VR-style (think Discs Of Tron) disc golf game using the Leap Motion controller. You select your preferred disc, clench your fist to grab the disc, adjust the angle with your hand, and then open your hand to let it fly. It’s so easy, you won’t even break a sweat.<\/p>\n
The disc physics are mostly complete, meaning that the dominant elements are done. The calculation of drag and lift, as well as gyroscopic precession are implemented. Gravity and air density are set at sea level settings. The additions that I would like to make to the physics model at this point are:<\/p>\n

- Rotational velocity decay<\/li>\n
- Magnus force<\/li>\n
- Modify the moment of pressure based on angle of attack<\/li>\n
- Wind and adjustable environment (like playing on the moon or Jupiter)<\/li>\n
- Rolling logic (tried a few ideas, but none of them worked out yet)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Due to interest from several friends, I’ll be improving this game as I find time. Here’s a list of items that I want to add, in approximate priority:<\/p>\n
